Rare animals, plants, around museum [Plants etc., Birds, Invertebrates, Biology] — Administrator @ 2:08 am

This video from Britain says about itself:

The elusive Bittern & Water Rail.
Filmed in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Camera used - Panasonic FZ18.

In Naturalis museum, in Leiden, the Netherlands, there is a small exhibition right now.

It is about the big survey this year of all wildlife species living around the museum: over 1400.

The exhibits included a springtail species, new for the Netherlands: Desoria trispinata.

The rare, shy water rail can sometimes be seen near a bridge close to the museum.

Canada geese also nest near the museum.

Helleborine orchids flower not far away.
