Great white egrets and fungi of the Naardermeer [Plants etc., Birds, Invertebrates] — Administrator @ 4:58 pm


This is a Dutch video about the Naardermeer.

Today, to the Naardermeer, the oldest nature reserve in the Netherlands.

Speckled wood and other butterflies. Many dragonflies and damselflies. Many water insects in the ditches, as we passed the Galloway cattle.

Many grey lag geese.

At the hide, two beautiful great white egrets flying past; grey heron; great crested grebe; great cormorant.

Sounds of jays, robins, and nuthatches.

A kestrel flying past.

Many fungi, including hypholoma; russula; and fly agaric.
